"It smells like a chapel:" Religious Spaces in Context
Using Morris Chapel as our example, this presentation with Professor Rex Hamilton will engage the subject of “religious spaces”—their origins, uses, re-uses, controversies, and “sensual features,” including some history of Morris chapel itself and its evolving use at the University of the Pacific.

Tiger Tasting: Craft Beer Fest
Indulge in an exclusive Craft Beer Tasting event with two of Pacific’s resident connoisseurs, Chris Ferguson, VP for Enrollment Management, and Dan Croxall '08, Professor of Law. These experts have traveled the state, sipping and selecting the finest craft beers California has to offer, and they’re ready to share their top picks with you! Whether you’re a seasoned beer enthusiast or just starting your craft beer journey, this event promises to be a memorable experience.
VIP experience includes a 1-hour guided tasting before the event opens.
Orange and Black Ball
Join us for one of Pacific’s most cherished traditions—the Orange & Black Ball, now celebrating its 27th year! Hosted by the Pacific Athletic Foundation, this premier fundraising event brings together the Pacific community for an unforgettable evening in support of our student-athletes. This year’s Masquerade-themed celebration offers the opportunity to connect with coaches, student-athletes, alumni, and friends while enjoying featured beer and wine, a catered dinner, silent and live auctions, dancing, and of course, Tiger pride. As the signature kickoff event for Homecoming & Family Weekend, it’s an evening you won’t want to miss.
Get dressed up and immerse yourself in the vibrant spirit of Pacific. Pre-registration is required; tickets will not be sold at the door.
Band Frolic Flashback and Family Movie Under the Stars
Step back in time and celebrate Pacific’s rich musical tradition. Join us for a special Band Frolic Flashback—a big-screen showing of iconic, archived Band Frolic performances packed with classic Tiger spirit.
After re-living those unforgettable on-stage moments, stick around for a cozy Family Movie Under the Stars on the lawn. Bring your family, pack your favorite blankets or lawn chairs, and enjoy an evening of nostalgia, community, and outdoor entertainment under the night sky.
Popcorn and light refreshments will be provided.
Swimming Pledge Plunge
The Swim & Dive Team’s biggest annual fundraiser is aiming higher than ever! This year, our goal is to raise $40,000 with 100% team participation, helping our student-athletes succeed in and out of the pool.
Register today to join us in the stands as a spectator! While our swim and dive team members take to the water, you can cheer them on from the sidelines as swimmers complete as many 25-yard laps as possible in one hour, and divers execute as many unique, legal dives as possible (no repeats!). Each athlete will have a counter tracking their progress. Donors can pledge a flat amount or donate per lap or dive, making every lap, dive, and cheer from the crowd count!

Tiger Dash
This race on the beautiful campus has got something for everyone. From the 175 yard Cub Run for kids, to the timed and certified 5K Tiger Dash, to the casual 5K Pack Walk for stroller and pets on leashes. Registration opens at 7:30 AM, with the Cub Run beginning at 8 AM and shot gun start for the Tiger Dash at 8:15 AM. T-shirts included with registrations while supplies last.
Men's Tennis Alumni Match
Step back onto the court and hit with the current men's Tennis team. Whether you want to play a full set or just hit around, all tennis alumni are welcome. Please come dressed in play-ready athletic attire. Bring your own equipment, or gear can be provided upon request.
NOTE: This event is limited to men's tennis alumni only.
Benerd College 3rd Annual Pickleball Tournament
Pickleball enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels are invited for a fun morning of competition and camaraderie while raising support for scholarships to help provide a Pacific education to under-served students through the Giovannoni Family Endowed Scholarship. T-shirts are included in event fee if registered prior to Sept 24.

Alumni Pep Band Performance
Some traditions are meant to be loud! This Homecoming, we’re celebrating the powerful soundtrack of Pacific with a high-energy Alumni Pep Band & Music Fraternity Experience. Grab an instrument, play in the stands alongside current students, watch the Tigers take on Seattle in volleyball, and reconnect with fellow music fraternity friends, all in one high-energy gathering.
Whether you haven't picked up your instrument in years or play every week, all music alumni are welcome! You do not need to have played in the Pep Band during your time at Pacific to participate. If you play an instrument, were part of a music fraternity, or simply share a love for Pacific’s music traditions, we want you in the stands bringing the noise for Tiger Athletics.

Set your sights on a fantastic Homecoming afternoon! We’re bringing the tailgate indoors to the Alex G. Spanos Center for lunch and fast-paced volleyball action vs. Seattle. Feel the electric court-side atmosphere with a special performance by the Alumni Pep Band, alongside the cheerleaders and Tiger dance team.
Dedicated seating areas will be available for Men's Volleyball alumni, Music Fraternities, and Athletics alumni to sit together and catch up.

This 2-hour continuing education course provides a practical overview of California law and ethical standards relevant to physical therapy practice, with a special emphasis on their application within clinical education. Participants will explore how legal and ethical considerations influence student supervision, clinical instruction, professional boundaries, documentation, scope of practice, communication, and decision-making in the clinical learning environment. Through relevant scenarios and discussion, the course will help participants recognize potential legal and ethical challenges and apply sound judgment when navigating the responsibilities of clinical education.
Course Objectives:
Examine legal requirements and ethical considerations for supervising students during clinical experiences. Discuss aspects required for clinical educators to uphold high academic standards. Examine legal and supervisory responsibilities of the clinical educator.

Join Benerd College this Homecoming for Conversations on the Edge with Dr. Gregory Peters, Executive Director of the San Francisco Coalition of Essential Small Schools (SF-CESS). As Principal of San Francisco’s Leadership High School, Dr. Peters led the creation of a National Demonstration School that achieved a 100% UC-eligibility graduation rate across all student racial demographics. An award-winning advocate for social justice, he will share actionable strategies for rethinking school systems and creating lasting educational equity.
